北大英语系新剧《鹿王》招募演员（师生）启事
继《暴风雨》(2002)与《我们的小镇》(2004)两大剧目成功演出之后，北大英语系即将排演另一剧作——《鹿王》，并向全校招募演员。《鹿王》是由意大利剧作家卡洛•高兹创作的童话剧。导演将融合东西方的多种表演形式，如京剧脸谱、化妆和戏服，中国武术以及使用真人般大小的木偶与真人同台演出。此剧用英文演出。剧中共25个角色，演员在面试后确定；其中2个角色要求演员会武术，期盼武术大师或爱好者能来参加面试。北大各个院系的学生和老师——无论年龄或国籍——都可前来面试。此剧从2005年2月22日开始正式排练，时间为每周二下午14:40-16:30。正式演出暂定于5月中旬，地点在北大百周年纪念讲堂及其他剧院。
面试日期：2005年2月19-20日（09:00—12:00，14:00—17:00）
2月21日（18：00--21：00）
面试地点：民主楼二楼会议室

THE KING STAG

Audition Notice
The English Department will hold auditions for THE KING STAG, which follows the successful productions of THE TEMPEST (2002) and OUR TOWN (2004). THE KING STAG is a fairy tale by Italian playwright, Carlo Gozzi. This production will mix Eastern and Western styles of acting by including Peking Opera masks, make-up and costumes, as well as Gong Fu and the use of life-sized puppets, interacting with the real actors. The play will be performed in English. All roles are open. Two of the 25 acting roles involve Gong Fu. Those skilled in the art of Gong Fu are encouraged to audition. Peking University students and teachers, regardless of age and nationality, are welcome for an audition. Rehearsals start Feb. 22, 2005, every Tuesday afternoon 14:40-16:30. Performances run in the middle of May at Centennial Hall and possible other venues.
Audition Dates: Feb. 19-20, 2005 (9:00 a.m.—12:00 a.m.,14:00 p.m. ?C 17:00 p.m.)
