PKU Join Seminar on New Youth and New Literature

Peking, Beijing, 2005, 17th: In order to celebrate the 90th anniversary of starting publication of new youth, propaganda department of Guangdong CPC Provincial committee, the Chinese Language Department and Ji'nan University modern literature research center o-f PKU have jointly sponsored the academic seminar of new youth and Chinese new-vernacular literature. As the first activity on Modern Chinese Literature study on the senior level forum, the scientific seminar held in Guangdong since the 11th this time, it aims at strengthening and expanding the study on new youth and new-vernacular literature through summarizing and a good inheritance of the generous legacy of new youth and new-vernacular literature better will produce the positive meaning.
Jiang Bin, vice-minister of Guangdong CPC Provincial committee propaganda department attended on the opening ceremony and gave an important speech on behalf of the propaganda department of Provincial Party committee, and unveiled for modern literature research center of Ji'nan University after the opening ceremony. Professor Jiang Shuzhou, School secretary and famous theoretician of literature and art, together with Ji'nan University reputable academic leader shows the warm welcome to the arrival of national modern literature senior expert.
This forum has invited top experts and scholars in the research field of large quantities of national modern literature to participate in the conference, including more than 70 famous personages, authoritative experts and pace-setters in scientific research of key universities of discipline. PKU Professor Yan Jiayan and Professor Wen RuMin from PKU, Professor Lu YaoDong from Wuhan University, Professor Lan Lizhi from Tsing-Hua University, Professor Huang Xiuji from Zhongshan University joined the meeting and made excellent remarks.
